How to backup contacts from HTC HD2
In this tutorial, we show you how to use PhoneCopy.com to safely back up the contacts stored on your HTC HD2. The service is free for personal use and works directly from your phone.

Windows Mobile setup
This guide works for Windows Mobile 5.0, Windows Mobile 6, Windows Mobile 6.1 or Windows Mobile 6.5. ActiveSync can be found on your phone by selecting Start - Programs - ActiveSync. Next, select Menu - Add source server.
Fill in your user credentials. Navigate between the steps by pressing Next and finally confirm the settings by pressing Finish.
Synchronization will start automatically.
Start future synchronizations by choosing Sync.
That is all there is to it. Your contacts are now backed up on PhoneCopy and you can access them from any browser whenever you need them.
Some additional tips:
If the sync does not complete, make sure your phone has a stable internet connection and that background data is enabled for the PhoneCopy app. A brief pause and retry usually resolves the issue.
